Vikram Kumar, M.D.

Vikram Kumar, M.D., joined the Sutter Amador Pediatric Center in 2010. He received his M.D. degree from Kilpauk Medical College in India and completed his residency training at the Marshfield Clinic/St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin. He is board certified in pediatrics.

Prior to joining the Sutter Amador Pediatric Center, Dr. Kumar was in private practice at Apex Medical Group and Memorial Hospital in Los Banos for five years. During that time, he was nominated for the Best Physician Award four times.

He is an electronic health records champion for Sutter Health and routinely blogs on Sutter Health’s MyLifeStages Web site.

Dr. Kumar is married and has one son. He and his wife both love small towns, farming cultures and being outdoors. He also enjoys hiking, cycling, playing tennis, gardening and playing with his son.
