General Billing Information
|
For each visit to Sutter Amador Hospital, Sutter Amador Pediatric Center, Sutter Amador Women's Services, Pioneer Health Center, Plymouth Health Center and the Laboratory Draw Station, an account number will be generated. You will be asked for your insurance information during each visit and the charges will be billed to your insurance with any co-payments collected at the time of visit. Your deductible portion will be billed to you after reimbursement from your insurance. If you have questions regarding your co-pay and deductible, please contact your health insurance carrier by calling the benefits telephone number on your insurance card. Medi-Cal co-pays are based on your monthly Share of Cost (SOC).
We also provide a Charity Care program for the uninsured patient. Charity Care applications are available at the hospital or through the Central Billing Office. If you have questions regarding your bill, the status of your account, or if you would like to pay your co-pay/deductible by telephone, please contact the Sutter Amador Hospital's Central Billing Office.

Separate Billing
|

You may also receive a separate billing from the Emergency Room Physicians, Radiologist, Anesthesiologist, Pathologist or Specialty Consultant should any of these services be rendered. Please note that these specialists are not employees of Sutter Amador Hospital, but are independent physicians. Insurance carriers contracted with Sutter Amador Hospital are not necessarily contracted with these specialists; therfore, the billing for their professional services must be billed separately in order to comply with governing regulations.

Emergency Room Physicians
Emergency Room patients will receive a bill from Sutter Amador Hospital as well as a separate bill for the physician's professional services. Please contact Amador Emergency Physician Medical Group at (800) 513-5332 or by e-mail at VAM@attglobal.net with any questions for Emergency Room physician services.

Radiology exams are read and billed separately by a Radiologist. These professional services are provided by Motherlode Diagnostics. Should you receive Radiology services from Sutter Amador Hospital you will also receive a bill from Motherlode Diagnostics. Their billing office number is (209) 223-0949.

Surgery patients who receive Anesthesia services will receive a separate bill for these professional services. Please contact Amador Anesthesia Medical Group at (877) 866-9877 for any billing questions for Anesthesia services received at Sutter Amador Hospital.

Yosemite Pathology will bill pathologist's services separately. For billing questions, contact their office at (209) 533-1151.
