Advanced Life Support Courses
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are educational programs available to hospital and non-hospital health care professionals. ACLS and PALS courses are taught following the 2006 American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. NRP follows the AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines.
Contact hours for each course are stated below. Sutter Amador Hospital (SAH) is an approved provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN), Provider # 01285.
2010 ALS Schedule of Classes
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support courses are offered four times per year. Nursing contact hours are available after completion of this course. Precourse preparation is required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
PALS courses are offered four times per year. Nursing contact hours are available after completion of this course. Precourse preparation is required.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) courses are offered twice per year. Nursing contact hours are available after completion of this course. Precourse preparation is required.
