Sutter Amador Hospital's Fund Development Department works with a volunteer Foundation Board to promote awareness and generate philanthropic support for the hospital. Since the first campaign in 1998, more than $1.4 million has been raised to fund technologically advanced equipment and innovative programs that enhance patient care.

To meet the ever changing healthcare needs of the community, new technology and new programs will be needed. In order to continue providing state-of-the-art technology for local residents philanthropic efforts will continue to support special projects, new equipment and added services.
The Sutter Amador Hospital Foundation Board was approved, as a sub-committe of the Board of Trustees, to continue philanthropic efforts. The Foundation Board consists of community members, medical staff, an Auxiliary representative and members of the Sutter Amador Hospital staff.
