    In Our Community

Sutter Amador Hospital (SAH) is a community-based, not-for-profit organization with a dedicated, local governing board. The administration and staff of SAH have a strong connection and deep commitment to the community.

SAH contributes to the community in a variety of ways throughout the year including: charity care to low-income or uninsured patients needing medical treatment, participation in education programs and involvement in the boards of other not-for-profit organizations.

The hospital also sponsors local events such as the Diaper Derby at the Ione Homecoming, the Great Sutter Creek Duck Race and the livestock auction at the Amador County Fair, as well as hosts the annual Health & Fitness Festival and Diabetes Fair.

For more information about SAH's involvement in the community, read about Community Benefit or view our Calendar of Events. For more information about special events, contact the Public Relations Department at (209) 257-7619.
