Volunteer Services
Sutter Amador Hospital currently has more than 100 Auxiliary members who dedicate more than 20,000 hours of service to hospital patients and staff each year.
Not only do Auxiliary members volunteer their time, they also contribute financially to the hospital. Funds raised by the Auxiliary are returned to the hospital in the form of medical equipment or other materials needed for patient care services.
Over the years, the Auxiliary has provided many scholarships to students pursuing careers in nursing and other clinical areas.

Auxiliary Thrift Shop
The Auxiliary Thrift Shop is operated entirely by volunteer Auxiliary members. They accept donations of gently used household and clothing items. Profits from the Thrift Shop are used in a variety of ways including donations to Sutter Amador Hospital and scholarships.

Hospital Gift Shop
Like the Thrift Shop, the Gift Shop is operated entirely by volunteer Auxiliary members. The Gift Shop offers fresh flowers, cards, stuffed animals, candy and other gifts.

Membership Information
For information about joining the Sutter Amador Hospital Auxiliary, call the Gift Shop at (209) 223-7514.
Applications to join the Auxiliary are also available in the lobby of the hospital. All volunteers must submit an application, complete a drug screen and a tuberculosis test. Auxiliary dues are $10 per year.
