Remembering a Friend or Loved One

Memorial gifts to Sutter Amador Hospital are a thoughtful and meaningful way to recognize a friend or loved one. A gift given in memory of one who passed away can touch friends and family deeply while helping to improve the health and well-being of others in your community.

Donors have the option of designating gifts to an area or department of their choosing, or giving an undesignated gift to be used in an area of greatest need. When memorial or honorary donations are received, a designated contact of the donor's choice will receive immediate notification of the gift with the amount held in confidence. Donors will also receive a letter of receipt for their gift that is tax-deductible.

Creating a Lasting Tribute

The Sutter Amador Hospital Foundation Board understands how important it is to have an enduring memory of friends and loved ones who have passed away.

To honor those individuals recognized by memorial gifts made to Sutter Amador Hospital, a daffodil bulb will be planted in the fall beneath the Valley Oaks located near the main entrance of the hospital. As the daffodils emerge with the coming of spring, they will serve as a lasting tribute for cherished friends and loved ones.

Sutter Amador Hospital, like a field of daffodils, will continue to change and grow thanks to thoughtful contributions from family and friends.
