How to Donate
Sutter Amador Hospital (SAH), an affiliate of Sutter Health, is a community based, not-for-profit facility. Donations from community members, local businesses, volunteers, physicians and staff are used to purchase new equipment and add needed services.
All contributions to SAH are tax deductible.

Ways to Give
There are many ways to make tax-deductible contributions to Sutter Amador Hospital.
- Make a single gift of cash or stock or a multi-year pledge.
- Legal Terminology to Implement Your Bequest
Please ask your lawyer to use the Foundation's suggested language for wills and living trusts - Include Sutter Amador Hospital in your estate plan involving current or deferred gifts of appreciated assets.
- Honor the memory of a friend or loved one, thank a caregiver or celebrate a life event. Notification of the gift can be sent to the person of the donor's choice (amounts are never disclosed).
- Remember a friend or loved one with a memorial contribution and a daffodil bulb will be planted in the fall beneath the Valley Oaks located near the main entrance of the hospital.
- Participate in a special event fundraiser.
- Make and in-kind donation.
- All donors are acknowledged in various publications throughout the year and are invited to an annual Donor Reception. Note: Donors making anonymous gifts will not be acknowledged in public listings.
- Donors making a single or cumulative gifts or pledges of $3,000 or more are also acknowledged on the donor wall in the hospital lobby.
- Donors making a single gift or pledge of $20,000 or more may choose to name a room or space in the hospital or Outpatient Services Building.
